The first phase, samples from digitally recorded analogue 'silence' at the start and end of a few records were used to create percussion sounds, synth oscillator waves and even reverb impulses, gently tapping along on the record player itself to generate bass tones. No other sound sources were used in these tracks at all but plenty of digital sound manipulation and mangling was. The second phase. Ripped from vinyl dubplates, hand cut with a heated diamond tip straight into the disk by peckhamcuts.co.uk. Available at rhorh.bandcamp.com/album/vinylove-dubs-vol-1-vinylrip-versions

These are the third phase, made with samples from the second phase dubplate, looped live with layers of effects, then edited into more manageable chunks.

Analogue to digital to analogue to digital and back again.
